# Coupled UKESM1.1 historical start dumps

Hello,

I am trying to set off a historical free-running coupled UKESM1.1 suite (copy of u-dr682) starting in 1980 to provide a 30-year run-up for some SSP simulations. I was wondering if someone could point me to where I could find the necessary 1980 start dumps for setting off a coupled UKESM1.1 simulation.

Hi there.

There is a MOSRS page with a list of standard UKESM jobs here ➡ [https://code.metoffice.gov.uk/trac/UKESM/wiki/UKESM1.1StandardJobs](https://code.metoffice.gov.uk/trac/UKESM/wiki/UKESM1.1StandardJobs).

The `u-dr682` simulation’s restart files are not on MASS that I can see, but there are older UM versions which do have restarts on MASS, for example (UM version 13.6)…

```auto
$ moo ls moose:/crum/u-dk062/ada.file | grep 1980

moose:/crum/u-dk062/ada.file/dk062a.da19800101_00

```

If you don’t have access to MASS then you will need to apply for access and then you can access it directly on Monsoon3.
