# Error in checking out suite

Hi, I encounter a persistent error when I try and checkout a suite from Rosie to my local, which I’m having real trouble overcoming. In Rosie → right click → checkout suite produces this error…

RosePopenError: svn checkout -q https:code.metoffice.gov.uk/svn/roses-u/d/c/5/7/5/trunk@275912 /home/n02/n02/eewjd/roses/u-dc575 # return-code=1, stderr=  
svn: E170013: Unable to connect to a repository at URL ‘[https://code.metoffice.gov.uk/svn/roses-u/d/c/5/7/5/trunk](https://code.metoffice.gov.uk/svn/roses-u/d/c/5/7/5/trunk)’  
svn: E215004: No more credentials or we tried too many times.  
Authentication failed.

I know my username and passwords are both corret and allow me to log into Rosie fine, so am unsure what the issue may be. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Kind regards.

Hi,

Please give us access to read your PUMA home directory.

```auto
chmod -R g+rX /home/n02/n02/<your-username>

```

Hi Ros, I’ve fixed the error - my password ended in %% which was causing issues with the cacheing. I changed it to alphanumeric and now the issue has resolved itself.

I was just about to ask you that question, having looked at your setup and could see no issue there. 🙃 There are several symbols that gpg-agent doesn’t like.
