Hi, I’m trying to modify and run a UKESM suite (u-cy933) on ARCHER2 submitting from PUMA2. I’ve tried to follow all the steps in the documentation page. It has succeeded with the fcm make tasks and the install\_ancil task, but the coupled task is saying poll failed. Any advice as to what the issue is would be gratefully received. Thanks Andrew ---

Andrew The coupled task is in the queue - maybe there is some comms failure between puma2 and archer2. Try stopping the suite with the restart will follow up on orphaned tasks option and then rose suite-restart. Grenville ---

Hi Grenville, Thanks for the reply - it seems to be working OK now. I had set the HPC-queue to “lowpriority” which may have been the issue - as soon as I set this to “standard” it submitted and started running. Thanks, Andrew
