# Fcm\_make starts build even though this should be postponed to fcm\_make2

Hi Kiril,

Glad that has allowed you to progress albeit it in a rather ad hoc fashion. I confirm that is the expected behaviour with the `fcm_make2_um` task building in the `fcm_make_um` directory and the location of the binary. The model task will locate the `um-atmos.exe` correctly.

I’ve still not had any inspiration on how to fix the 2-step make unfortunately.
