Dear NCAS,

Is there a copy on PUMA2 somewhere of all of the ancillary files used by HadGEM2 in its various versions (-ES, -CC, -AO, -AMIP)? If not, could they be made available somewhere?

Many thanks,
Peter

Peter

The only place I know of where UM 6.6.6 data is available is on Monsoon at `/projects/um1/hg6.6.6/ctldata`

I see some files that were in the HadGEM-ES job for example, but I don’t know if the set is complete.

Hi Peter,

To follow up on Grenville’s reply - I think the rest of the ancil files you may be looking for are on Monsoon under `/projects/umadmin/umadmin/HG2`

Cheers,
Ros.

Dear Ros & Grenville,
Thanks for your replies. Would you mind copying these across to ARCHER2/PUMA2 somewhere as I would need to re-register for MONSOON to get access?

Best wishes,
Peter

Hi Peter

Are you planning to run HadGEM2 on ARCHER2 - if so, please note that we no longer support that model (on any machine)?

Hi Grenville
We’re hoping to run HadGEM2 on the Birmingham machine not on ARCHER2.
Thanks,
Peter

Hi Peter,

I’ve put the ancil files on ARCHER2 at:
`/work/n02/n02/ros/HG2`. Please do let me know once you’ve copied then.

Cheers
Ros
