I have just had a look at the form to request Archer time, and would appreciate some advice.
The form looks like we need a NERC grant number - however our project is funded by the ERC and I wasn’t sure where to specify this. I believe we have ~£35,000 allocated to pay for Archer access as part of our grant - so our allocation would be funded.
Our project involves running UKESM for paleoclimates in order to improve future climate change projections. I believe Dan Lunt may have already contacted you about some parallel work that they are undertaking in Bristol. We would have similar access requirements to the Bristol group (but would need less HPC time).
Could you advise on how to fill in the form.
