I would like to include slurm tasks in my UM workflow, but it looks like the cylc configuration on PUMA does not include similar configuration options for JASMIN (which only has the ‘sci-vm’ option for background jobs) as for ARCHER (which has ‘archer2’ for slurm tasks and ‘archer2_bg’ for background tasks).
Are there any plans to expand the cylc config to allow this, and/or what can I add to my workflow configuration files to enable this?

We have 3 JASMIN platforms - I guess you need the lotus2 platform (see section Platforms in )https://cms.ncas.ac.uk/cylc8/
JASMIN:
lotus2 : Slurm job on lotus2 cluster
sci-vm : background job on random scientific analysis server
sci-vm-0[1-6] : background job on specific sci server

Ahh - I’d completely missed that lotus2 was on jasmin! Thanks for the info, I’ll try this platform instead.
