Hi NCAS CMS,
I need to access MOSRS to put in a Monsoon project application to cover compute requirements for the NERC Huracan project after Archer2 goes offline. Our allocation is currently being managed by Helen Burns. I have had a MOSRS account in the past (user bmaybee), but unfortunately the account is now “inactive”.
Please could you put in a request to the Met Office to reactive the account? Apologies if this isn’t the right route, and very happy to be corrected and sent another direction if that’s the case!!
Many thanks,
Ben

Hi Ben.
I’ll put that reactivation request in for you now.
Cheers
Jonny
Just a follow up to this, you might also want to email monsoon@metoffice.gov.uk to get any relevant paperwork required.
Cheers

Thanks for the heads up and looking into this for me Jonny – shall do!
Ben
Hi there.
There’s a comment from the MOSRS team on their reactivation ticket…
Can I check the username please, there is no bmaybee, however there is a user with Maybee as the surname who has a University of Leeds email address. Would this be the account?
Cheers
Jonny
Yep that will be the account. There aren’t many Maybee’s nationally, nevermind at Leeds!
Ben
Hi Ben.
Your account has been reactivated and you should have received an email from MOSRS/scientific partnerships at the Met Office.
Cheers
Jonny
