Submit-failed limit reached

Hi,

All my jobs are going straight to ‘submit-failed’

In my job-activity.log I have:

(ln01) 2026-10-01T08:55:44Z [STDERR] sbatch: error: AssocMaxCpuMinutesPerJobLimit
(ln01) 2026-10-01T08:55:44Z [STDERR] sbatch: error: Batch job submission failed: Job violates accounting/QOS policy (job submit limit, user’s size and/or time limits)

I am using ‘n02-chem’

Please could somebody take a look?

Hi Molly,

n02-chem has run out of budget. I’ve put in a little more.

Can you let me know how many more CUs you will be needing please?

Hi Ros,

Thank you very much! I think I will need about 1500-1600 CUs to complete my runs. That’s based on ~10 CU’s per month for 13 years run, does that sound like a reasonable estimate? Would that be ok?
