Sumit-failed 'Job violates accounting/QOS policy'

Hi,

All my jobs are going straight to ‘submit-failed’

In ‘cylc-run/u-dx817/log/job/20100501T0000Z/postproc/NN/job-activity.log’:

(ln03) 2026-03-16T18:54:39Z [STDERR] sbatch: error: AssocMaxCpuMinutesPerJobLimit
(ln03) 2026-03-16T18:54:39Z [STDERR] sbatch: error: Batch job submission failed: Job violates accounting/QOS policy (job submit limit, user’s size and/or time limits)

I am using ‘n02-chem’

Please could somebody take a look?

It’s not a very illuminating error message, but n02-chem had run out of resource. I have topped it up now.

Hi Molly,

Sorry we’ve entered the new allocation year today and I hadn’t put any CUs into n02-chem. It’s topped up now. How many more years of your model do you have to run?

Hi Ros,

I’ve discussed this with Molly and we were hoping to run at least another 30 years (AMIP nudged) for the UKESM evaluation and development we are doing.

Would this be ok?
