Accessing Monsoon2

Dear NCAS-CMS team,

I am a NERC funded PhD student from the University of Exeter (Penryn Campus), working with the Met Office. I will be working on the Met Office’s atmospheric dispersion model (NAME) that has been running on JASMIN thus far. Currently they are considering moving it to Monsoon2.

I was wondering if you could give me some information about accessing and working on Monsoon2 - should I contact the Met Office or someone from the University of Exeter to get the access approval and instructions for using Monsoon2?

Please contact the Monsoon2 team at Monsoon@metoffice.gov.uk to request access. You will need a sponsor that will be someone you are working with at the Met Office.
