Interrupting JDMA get request

Hi CMS team,
I am downloading some files from the rdf_migrate workspace in JASMIN elastic tape to the incompass GWS using JDMA get (request id 1200). Current status of the request is ‘GETTING’. However, I think the incompass GWS is getting filled up and I would like to remove some files from the filelist which I created for this transfer. Is there a way I can stop the download at this stage without corrupting my files in the elastic tape?

Hi Arathy,

I’m not aware of a way of stopping the download mid flow. I can’t see anything in the documentation about this. You would need to ask JASMIN.

Ok, thanks Ros. I too couldn’t find any in the jdma tutorial. I will contact JASMIN then.

Hi Ros,
Just to update on this, I contacted JASMIN and they cancelled the download for me. I am told that JDMA doesn’t currently have the feature to cancel transfers by the user.
We can close this ticket now.
