Before writing my own, I thought I would try here. Does anyone have code to create JULES soil hydraulic parameters, from sand/clay and maybe bulk density, for a l_vg = True configuration. Thanks in advance.

ANTS has a soils hydrology routine - may or may not be of help?

I shall check to see if l_vg = True has been incorporated into ANTS. In CAP it was done with a lookup table rather than continuous functions.

I’ve done a lot of work with l_vg = true.
I think that the standard ANTS suite has this option. But there is a JULES Data Assimilation suite that I just got working that uses Python to make an ensemble of WFDEI VG soil ancillaries from SoilGrids data and a Toth PTF (u-dj791 is the suite number, first developed by Ewan Pinnington).

Oooh! Thanks for this. I think ANTS still uses a lookup table. I shall have a look at the suite though.
