Known UM Failure Points

Hello.

I’m having different errors when running the model. I got communication errors, segfault, NaNs, and several others I don’t recall now. Wasn’t the model supposed to be deterministic? Usually, it works after running again, so it’s not a big deal, but it would be nice to know.

I tried to go to the following webpage (written in one of those errors), but my credentials didn’t allow me access. Is it possible for me to have access to it, or to this content in particular?

Dear Ros.

I don’t think I need to reset my MOSRS password. It’s working fine on pumatest. It didn’t work to access the support webpage.

I assume from pumatest test that fcm ls fcm:um.x-tr works ok for you?

If so then you definitely have access to the UM project. So you should be able to login here: https://code.metoffice.gov.uk/trac/home and go to the UM home page where you’ll find the link to the “Known UM failure points” page.

If you can’t login on the website then you will need to contact the Met Office.
