Nested domains - forcing inner domain

Hi, I’m working on nesting a 1.5km domain inside of a 4km domain in suite u-eb421 (recently committed). I can get the 4km simulation running, but am struggling to get the 1.5km to run inside of it. For Config 1 and Config 2 setup (for the two domains), I’m wondering what the settings should be for rg01_rs01_m01_arch and rg01_rs02_m01_arch (archiving) respectively for the lbc creation files, start dump, and fieldsfiles - does fieldfiles need to be set to True for the 4km domain, to force the 1.5km?

When I set everything to false for both domains, then I get an error at the vegfrac stage for the 1.5km domain. But I was looking at another example of a nested setup and saw that fieldsfiles archiving was set to True, which is why I wanted to ask. When I set it to True even just for the 4km domain (so the third option in rg01_rs01_m01_arch is True) and try to run, I get an immediate error that the parent is “undefined” for the 4km domain.
