Nudged run for year 2012

Hi CMS:

I copied a working suite, which works well for year 2020 (nudged), to u-dv068, where I wanted to make a nudged UKCA run for year 2012. Then I changed both SST and SEAICE files from the previous files to new ones:

$UMDIR/ukca/ancil/n96e/reynolds/n96e_gregorian_1981_2019/reynolds_seaice_198109-201909.anc

$UMDIR/ukca/ancil/n96e/reynolds/n96e_gregorian_1981_2019/reynolds_sst_198109-201909.anc

And I also changed model base time and set the new date time to 2012 accordingly. However, the model failed with the error message from RCF_ANCIL_ATMOS,

Error message is: replanca_rcf_replanca: Current time precedes start time of data

FYI, I manually added these two files to rose-app.conf under app/um.

Have you checked that all the ancillary files are compatible with a 2012 start - the job.out file indicates possibly not:

IO: Open: /work/n02/n02/luke/inputs/ocean_bgc/CHL_ssp370_timeseries_bc292_be690_2014_2100_n96_greg.anc on unit 13
replanca_rcf_replanca: UPDATE REQUIRED FOR FIELD 96 : OCEAN NR. SURFACE CHLOROPHYLL(KGM-3)

Is this file OK for a 2012 start?

Thanks for pointing that out. I know what caused the failure. I will copy another working suite for 2012.

Hi there,

I have now copied a new suite for year 2012, which is u-dv102. I tried to use a new branch and a STASHmaster to get the latest updates to the codes. It seems to run for a few steps, but stops after a few steps with an Error message: UNRECOGNISED time profile request. I could not find further information to diagnose the causes from the output files. So could you help? Thanks
