Puma2 mosrs-cache-password and probelm with roses

Hi folks
As mjmn02 on puma2, I restored my MOSRS account with support from the met office and reset my password

I can access the metoffice trac and can store my MOSRS svn pasword.

BUT then I get stuck with Roses e.g.:

. ~fcm/metomi/bin/mosrs-setup-gpg-agent

Met Office Science Repository Service password:
Subversion password cached

[hangs … and on carriage return :]

[WARN] https://code.metoffice.gov.uk/rosie/u/hello: {}: cancelled by user
hello: {}
Error: Unable to access Rosie with given password
Run “mosrs-cache-password” to try caching your password again

The processes i have running are now:
mjmn02 624901 624792 0 Oct07 ? 00:00:00 /usr/bin/dbus-daemon --session --address=systemd: --nofork --nopidfile --systemd-activation --syslog-only
mjmn02 669130 1 0 Oct07 ? 00:00:00 ssh-agent
mjmn02 669143 1 0 Oct07 ? 00:00:38 /home/n02/n02/fcm/metomi/opt/bin/gpg-agent --daemon --allow-preset-passphrase --batch --max-cache-ttl 43200 --write-env-file /home/n02/n02/mjmn02/.gnupg/gpg-agent.env

Thanks!
Regards,
Mike

Hi Mike,

Can you confirm you can get to: https://code.metoffice.gov.uk/trac/roses-u/browser/c/n/1/3/4
ok on MOSRS?

On the command line can you run: rosie hello --prefix=u and see what you get.

One other question do have special characters in the password like ^ or # - I’m not sure if they are still a problem with the slightly later version of gpg-agent.

Regards,
Ros.

Thanks Ros
I had $ and % included in the password.

With a new password all seems well.
Regards
Mike

Glad changing the password resolved the problem.

Cheers,
Ros.
