UM suite u-cl512

Hi,

My username is eewz on Jasmin. I was trying to run a UM suite u-cl512 from Jasmin but got an error: [FAIL] file:ana/mule_cumf.py=source=fcm:um.xm_tr/rose-stem/ana/mule_cumf.py@vn12.0: bad or missing value

I would be grateful if you could help with this issue.

On JASMIN, you should use um.x_tr instead of um.xm_tr .
You can test this at the command line on the cylc1 node of JASMIN with:
fcm export fcm:um.x_tr/rose-stem/ana/mule_cumf.py@vn12.0
And it should say:

  A    mule_cumf.py
  Export complete.

You can delete that copy of mule_cumf.py after doing this.

Hi Grenville,

After fixing the above issue, there are some more issues:

[FAIL] cylc validate -o /tmp/tmpJYChOx --strict u-cl512 # return-code=1, stderr=
[FAIL] Illegal item: [scheduling][dependencies][job submission]method

I was wondering if it is because this suite is not suitable for running from Jasmin on Monsoon.

JASMIN is not set up to run the UM.
