Will the ancillary suite work for paleoclimate configurations?

Hi all,

Recently, I have been trying to generate the ancillary files required for paleo simulations (e.g. the LGM and Pliocene).

To do it, I copied u-cc111/GC5_N96_ORCA1_ancils to u-dz309 and updated it to run on ARCHER2. I have more or less managed to get it working using the modern master files as input. The next step is to use it to generate ancillary files for paleo intervals. However, I am still not very familiar with the workflow and am unsure whether it will work correctly for paleo configurations.

Is anyone familiar with this ancillary-generation suite and its workflow?

In particular, I am wondering whether there are any ad hoc setting in the suite that were specified for present-day configurations and might therefore be unsuitable for paleo applications.

Any guidance or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry, for the delay. This is not a suite we’re familiar with. Have you managed to get it to work for your paleo configurations?
