Unrecognised domain profile

Hi,

I am running a version 13.7 UM Nesting suite (u-do115) on Monsoon. It is based on u-dn428. I added a few new STASH requests. Because for glm_um, there is no domain profile I want to use, but there is one in um, so I added a domain profile TH_1_60 in glm_um based on the one from um. But I got an error saying ‘unrecognised domain profile request’ when I was running it.

Could you please help me with it?

Hi,
Can you commit any changes made to the suite? Also could you point to which job is failing? The current glm_um_fcst_000 task in ~kqiu/cylc-run/u-do115, and following Regn ones seem to have completed.

Thanks for your help. I have committed my changes.

It was the glm_um_fcst_000 task that failed. When I see the error of “unrecognised domain profile”, I ignored the domain“TH_1_60" I added in glm_um, unticked the STASH requests using it, and then restarted the run. All the tasks succeeded afterwards.

Thanks for the update.
In case the error recurs when you activate the STASH settings, it will be helpful to look at suite as well as run-time settings in the cylc-run folder.

Hi,

I tried again with the STASH settings activated today and the error didn’t occur this time. I don’t know why but everything is fine now.
