Advice on suite n512- ARCHER2

Hi,

I am planning to run a high resolution (n512) atmosphere only UM model on ARCHER2.

Would you suggest editing a n96 suite (e.g u-ca369)- and if so would it be as simple as changing the resolution in the model configuration >> horizontal resolution?

Or is there a better ‘starting’ suite?

Hi Holly

How about something like u-bs251 (the archer2 branch) - that suite runs at n96, n216, or n512.
I’d not recommend simply changing the resolution.
