Attempt to access GWS on JASMIN times out

Hi,

I’m trying to access an account of mine within a GWS on JASMIN, but the command just doesn’t finish (there’s no response). I tried to access the GWS in general, and then the directory of GWS (/gws/nopw/j04/), but still no response. Is the storage system down at the moment? Many thanks in advance for your advice!

Hi Markus,

I’ve not seen any announcements about GWS. I can cd /gws/nopw/j04 ok from sci3. Where are you trying to access it from?

Many thanks for the quick response! I’ve tried to access from cylc1, but I doesn’t work from sci3 either. It must be my account then, I suppose. I don’t see any access rights that have expired or something like that.

Hopefully you have received the email from JASMIN about an hour ago announcing an issue with the Group Workspaces.

I did, yes. I tried some more and noticed that I can get to /gws/nopw/, but not into /gws/nopw/j04/.
