Hi,

I am trying to understand the subroutine ‘TROPIN’ (Met Office Science Repository Service).

The code refers to UMDP S1 for more details, but this paper is not listed at https://code.metoffice.gov.uk/doc/um/latest/umdp.html.

Do you know where I can find the following documentation paper:

Interpolation Techniques and Grid Transformation Used in the Unified Model, A. Dickinson, Unified Model Documentation Paper S1, version 11, 18 Feb 98.

Hi Seb,

The only copy we have is from way back at UM4.5. If it’s of any use, that routine may have changed significantly since then, I’ve put it on puma at ~ros/ps001.pdf
